At Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C., we believe that it is our responsibility and privilege to support organizations and activities whose efforts result in stronger communities. Many of our attorneys and staff members serve as officers, directors and trustees for charitable associations, assist as volunteers for civic organizations and events, and contribute financially to worthy causes.

Lydia Chartre Elected to CAI-WI Board of Directors/Daniel Miske Elected Chair of CAI-WI Legislative Action Committee - March 4, 2013

Lydia Chartre has been elected to the CAI-WI Board of Directors.  Daniel Miske has been elected Chair of the CAI-WI Legislative Action Committee.

Community Associations Institute (CAI) is a national organization with over 30,000 members dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations.  Its mission is to help community associations promote harmony, a sense of community, responsible citizenship and effective leadership.

Jack Enea has joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee’s Board of Trustees.

Jack Enea has joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee’s Board of Trustees. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee, one of the largest and longest youth-serving agencies in Milwaukee, offers structured after-school and summer programming to more than 41,000 children and teens each year. Within the safety of 44 locations, youth have access to free meals, academic support, role models and opportunities to build character and explore new interests.

Kate Bechen Elected to the Wisconsin State Bar Health Law Board of Directors

Kate Bechen has been elected to the Wisconsin State Bar Health Law Board of Directors. Within the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Health Law section addresses relevant health issues, such as managed care, bioethics, risk management and health care, through educational opportunities, seminars and forums. Kate's term on the board began on July 1, 2014 and will conclude on June 30, 2014.

Bill Hughes Appointed to the Sacred Heart School of Theology Board of Directors

Bill Hughes was appointed to the Sacred Heart School of Theology Board of Directors. Sacred Heart School of Theology is North America's largest Catholic seminary focused on preparing men of all ages for priesthood. Sacred Heart's expertise ensures a rich, rewarding and effective formation experience for men of all ages, and places special focus on men over 30. The school, founded in 1932, is an apostolate of the Priests of the Sacred Heart and is located in Franklin, a suburb of Milwaukee, Wis.

Jennifer Jin has been elected to the board of directors of Renaissance Theaterworks for the 2014-2015 performance season. Ariane Strombom was appointed as Vice Chair of the International Technology Law (ITechLaw) Association Young Lawyers' Committee. The mission of the Young Lawyers' Committee is to assist young technology lawyers by engaging them in the work of the Association, while also providing global networking, leadership and educational opportunities designed to build and enhance the fundamentals of their legal practice.

Jeff McIntyre Invited to Serve on Porchlight, Inc. Board of Directors

Jeff McIntyre has been invited to serve as a member of the board of directors of Porchlight, Inc. Porchlight is a non-profit organization which provides emergency shelter, food, employment services, counseling, and affordable transitional and permanent housing to homeless people in the Dane County area. Porchlight's services are designed to foster independence and the transition into permanent housing and employment.

WHD’s Patrick Coffey has been invited to serve as a member of the Advisory Board of the American Society of Physician Advisors (ASPA). The ASPA is a non-profit professional member association, which serves as an essential resource for the development and advancement of physician advisors and medical directors. It provides affordable education, tools and resources including publications, and collaboration and networking opportunities for its members. The Advisory Board will assist the ASPA in the development of a financially sound, best-in-class professional organization for physician advisors.

Michael Lauer was elected to the American Heart Association’s Board of Directors. The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization devoted to fighting cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Founded by six cardiologists in 1924, the American Heart Association now includes more than 22.5 million volunteers and supporters whose driving mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. They fund innovative research, fight for stronger public health policies and provide lifesaving tools and information to save and improve lives.
