Timothy Posnanski was elected to the Board of Directors of the Milwaukee Tennis & Education Foundation. Kathryn West Reappointed to Fourth Term as a Commissioner on the Redevelopment Authority for the City of Milwaukee
Kathryn West has been reappointed to a fourth term as a Commissioner on the Redevelopment Authority for the City of Milwaukee. She has been closely connected to Brownfield Redevelopment issues as a Commissioner on the City of Milwaukee Redevelopment Authority for more than 15 years, and is currently the longest-serving member on the RACM board. The mission of the Redevelopment Authority is to eliminate blighting conditions that inhibit neighborhood reinvestment, to foster and promote business expansion and job creation, and to facilitate new business and housing development.

WHD Launches “Whyte Lights” Program to Support Our Communities
“Whyte Lights” is a program that supports our communities in a very unique way. In the month of October, WHD made $100 available to every employee who wished to use the money, at their discretion, to support a local organization, an individual in need, or even a complete stranger who could use a little help. The participation was tremendous and the results were moving. We’ve captured these stories in our Whyte Lights publication.

John Emanuel Named Secretary/Treasurer of the National American Lung Association Board of Directors
WHD's John Emanuel was named Secretary/Treasurer of the National American Lung Association Board of Directors. In this role, Mr. Emanuel will interact closely with the national CFO, and guide the Board's oversight of the Lung Association's financial affairs. He will step down from his position on the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest Board to take on the new position. Mr. Emanuel has been involved with the American Lung Association for over 10 years. In honor of Emanuel’s service to the Lung Association, the Upper Midwest Board of Directors has named its 2012-2013 Biomedical Research Award the John F. Emanuel Biomedical Research Award. The American Lung Association is the leading organization working to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease through Education, Advocacy and Research.

Daniel Geraghty Appointed to Board of Directors of Glacial Lakes Conservancy, Inc.
Daniel Geraghty was appointed to the Board of Directors of Glacial Lakes Conversancy, Inc. Glacial Lakes Conservancy, Inc. is a non-profit land trust dedicated to preserving the lands of Wisconsin. Glacial Lakes Conservancy is specifically focused on offering land conservation options, organizational support, and technical guidance to landowners and organizations throughout Sheboygan, Manitowoc, Kewaunee, Calumet and Fond du Lac counties. Mr. Geraghty previously served as an officer and board member of another land trust and has advised numerous land trusts and donors in planning for and defending conservation easements from both a legal and tax perspective.
