Dan Gentges is a shareholder in the Milwaukee office of Whyte Hirschboeck Dudek S.C. and leader of the Finance Practice Group. He is a member of the firm’s Construction Litigation & Consultation, Health Care and Real Estate Practice teams. He represents clients in a variety of health care-related, real estate and finance transactions.

  • Assisted physician group with selection of lending institution for acquisition of interest in an outpatient surgery center joint venture with regional hospital.
  • Assisted national health care development firm with negotiation of development agreement and financing documents for an approximately $50 million hospital expansion.
  • Assisted national health care development firm with preparation of master building lease for hospital-owned outpatient surgery center.
  • Assisted multiple physician groups with the planning, development, financing and construction of multi-specialty outpatient surgery, imaging and medical office buildings.
  • Assisted IT-management firm for assisted living facilities with acquisition of central data center.
  • Worked with Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the City of Franklin, Wisconsin, environmental consultants and developer-owner to implement a wetland relocation and enhancement in connection with development of multi-specialty medical office, outpatient surgery center and imaging center.
  • Analyzed proposed block leasing arrangements in radiology clinic for compliance with Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Regularly assists physician groups, individual physicians and other health care professionals with negotiation of medical office and clinic leases.
